Weight watchers

Hello all....

It may seem like I haven't written for a long time, but in fact I have, it's all just waiting to be changed from 'draft' to 'published'! This one unfortunately is not one of 'those' posts but is one I have been wanting to write for a long time....

I didn't want to write this until I had a few compliments. Don't ask me why, but I think it's what I just needed for my own confidence and that it was right for me before I started publicising it everywhere. Which this last week I have received a few so I thought that now was the best time.....

As some of you may know I have been trying to find a 'diet' that works for me. I firstly want to loose weight so I can look AMAA-ZIIING at my sister's wedding but also want to loose so I can just look fab in general and be a healthier better me as I know that if I don't loose weight my health problems wont get better. So over the summer I tried the 5:2 and that just wasn't for me - I need to eat!!! I tried the Harcombe diet, which was ok, but I have a sweet tooth and I'm not a massive meat fan. So in the end, I finally decided to go back to my friend Weight Watchers.

So yes, these past 5 weeks I have been on Weight Watchers and I feel amazing! Up until last week I had lost 11lbs and reached my first target of a 5% weight loss. Unfortunately I had put on 1lb this week - I don't know why but maybe it's just something that happens to us women....

Anyway, my weight loss has looked like this:

Week 1 - 3lbs
Week 2 - 4lbs
Week 3 - 1lbs
Week 4 - 2lbs
Week 5 - 1lbs
Week 6 + 1lbs :(

I have decided to do it all online as due to work etc I'm not able to go along to weekly meetings. So I ensured that my weighing scales worked and were correct and then I set off from there....

If it hasn't been from the support of two of my friends - you know who you two are - I don't think I would have carried it all on. We decided to all start together and have a secret little message checking how we are getting on and seeing how much we had lost / gained as well as  sending hints, tips and recipes etc.

My other main support has been from a UK Weight watchers facebook group which has posted amazing information and support. If someone spots a good find / buy in the shops you / they will post it with how many pp it is. If someone gets stuck or needs help, just post on it and at least one person will help you. Plus getting encouragement if you have done from either really well down to really bad. Just a lovely group of people and lovely place to be part of.

I set myself mini goals to help keep me going along the way but my biggest aim is to have a 'healthy' BMI.

So here is my new commitment:

Along with my other posts that I do every Tuesday I will aim to post up my weigh in results. If I find an amazing food or recipe then I will post it up also, but at a random point in the week.

Who else does weight watchers and how do you find it etc?

Love, Mrs O x
